Water Outage Planned for Parts of Belgrade's Rakovica Municipality

Residents in several parts of Belgrade's Rakovica municipality will face a water outage on Wednesday, July 22. The disruption is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and last until the same time on Thursday, July 23.

The Public Utility Company "Belgrade Waterworks and Sewerage" announced that the interruption is necessary for the commissioning of a newly installed water pipeline. The affected streets include Hajduk Veljkova, 2. septembra, 14. oktobra, Straževička, Brodaraca, Ćupričin potok, Trećepozivačkoj, Prvoboračkoj, Dimitrija Konjovića, Miloša Bogićevića, 17. oktobra, Kneževačkoj, Muminovačkoj, Slavka Rodića, Željka Šijana, Lenke Marinković, Humski put, Maričkoj, Janković Stojana, Stevana Lukovića, Konstantina Babića, Pilota Mihaila Petrovića (from Majora Omera Mehića to Starca Milije), Starca Milije, Dr Milivoja Petrovića, and Kraljice Jelene.

To mitigate the impact, "Belgrade Waterworks and Sewerage" will provide water tankers for essential drinking and basic needs. The company urged citizens to prepare adequate water reserves in advance.
