Water Service Disruptions Announced for Fernando de la Mora, Paraguay

The state-owned water company Essap has announced that parts of Fernando de la Mora will experience water service cuts and low pressure beginning Monday night. These disruptions are necessary to carry out cleaning work at the Pitiantuta Distribution Center, located at Músicos del Chaco and 11 de Septiembre streets.

The cleaning of the reservoir is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. Essap has urged families in the affected neighborhoods, specifically Pitiantuta and Kokué Guazú, to take necessary precautions. The company stated that water service will gradually normalize once the reservoir cleaning is complete, although a specific time for full restoration was not provided.

In addition to the supply issues, Essap warned that the draining of the reservoir could lead to significant water runoff onto public roads. The company advised drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution while navigating these areas. Essap has apologized to the residents of Fernando de la Mora for any inconvenience caused by the temporary service interruption.
