We will never forget July 15, not in ten years, not in a thousand

Turkey is gearing up to mark the 10th anniversary of the July 15, 2016, coup attempt, an event orchestrated by members of the FETÖ organization aimed at undermining Turkish democracy and the nation's will. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called for a "national memory mobilization" to ensure the epic struggle against the coup plotters is effectively transmitted to younger generations.

In response to Erdoğan's directive, the AK Party's Promotion and Media Directorate and the Presidential Communications Directorate have initiated comprehensive planning for the anniversary. The planned programs aim to reawaken the public's memory of the resistance and democratic struggle demonstrated on the night of July 15, emphasizing acts of loyalty to martyrs and veterans. Additionally, the initiatives will highlight Turkey's advancements in security, defense, democracy, and development over the ten years since the coup attempt.
