Weather Change Expected in Lithuania: Cooler Temperatures and Rain Approaching

Forecasters in Lithuania are predicting a notable change in weather patterns, signaling the end of the current warm spell. The coming days will see a shift towards cooler temperatures and increased rainfall across much of the country.

Expect intermittent clouds with periods of sunshine, but also the likelihood of short-lived rain showers in different locations. Thunderstorms may also occur. The pleasant southerly and southwesterly winds will be replaced by a cooler and stronger westerly to northwesterly breeze, with gusts potentially reaching 15-17 meters per second in some areas.

Temperatures are expected to drop significantly. While the early part of the day might still reach up to 24-29 degrees Celsius in most regions, the western parts will experience cooler conditions, with highs around 19-23 degrees. By afternoon and evening, the entire country will begin to cool down. This cooling trend is expected to continue into the following week, with daytime highs struggling to reach above 18-23 degrees Celsius.
