Weather: Cloudy Start to the Week Before a Sharp Rise in Temperatures

The beginning of the week in Belgium will be marked by cloudy skies, with a significant rise in temperatures expected as the week progresses. Monday's weather will feature partly to very cloudy conditions inland, as cumulus clouds develop and higher-level clouds move in from the west.

Daytime highs on Monday are forecast to range between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius in the interior of the country. Winds will generally be light and variable inland. Along the coast, however, winds will become moderate from the northeast in the afternoon.

Monday evening will see partly cloudy skies with dry weather. Overnight, cloud cover is expected to increase, potentially bringing isolated light showers. The night will be milder, with minimum temperatures ranging from 10°C in the Hautes Fagnes region to 15-16°C in western and central areas. The wind will shift to a light, variable southerly direction during the night.
