Weather forecast: 25 degrees Celsius expected for Belgium's national holiday

Belgium is anticipating pleasant weather for its national holiday celebrations, with temperatures expected to reach around 25 degrees Celsius in many areas. The Royal Meteorological Institute's forecast suggests a mix of sunshine and clouds across the country.

While most of the country is expected to enjoy clear skies in the evening, some cloudiness is predicted for the western regions. Temperatures will vary, with the coast and the High Fens region experiencing cooler highs between 19 and 20 degrees Celsius. Inland areas, particularly in the center of the country, are set to enjoy warmer conditions, reaching up to 24 or 25 degrees Celsius. The wind is expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the north.

Overnight, large parts of the country will still benefit from significant clear spells. However, as the night progresses, low clouds are anticipated to increase in the western and central parts of Belgium. Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 7 to 8 degrees Celsius in some valleys south of the Sambre and Meuse rivers, while coastal areas will remain milder, with lows around 16 to 17 degrees Celsius. The wind will become light inland but remain moderate along the coast.
