Weather forecast: After a hot Wednesday, temperatures will slightly decrease

Berlin and Brandenburg can expect a cooling trend after a hot Wednesday, with the German Weather Service (DWD) forecasting highs of 27 to 30 degrees Celsius for Thursday. The warmest areas will be around Cottbus, while Angermünde and Neuruppin will experience the coolest temperatures. There is a slight chance of showers, and the sky will be partly cloudy.

The temperature will continue to drop on Friday, with forecasts indicating a range of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius from north to south. Berlin is expected to reach 24 degrees Celsius. Overnight lows for Thursday night are predicted to be between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius.

Looking towards the weekend, temperatures are expected to rise again, reaching between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius. Both Saturday and Friday will feature cumulus clouds and sunny intervals, though Friday is expected to have more cloud cover, while Saturday will be sunnier. Overnight lows on Friday night are forecast to decrease further, ranging from eight to 13 degrees Celsius. Some patchy ground fog may occur locally on Saturday night.
