Professional planning is also less common in Thuringia compared to more populous German states like Bavaria or North Rhine-Westphalia, where specialized agencies and client interest are significantly higher.

Couples opt for external planners for several key reasons. Krüger-Klehm highlights that it allows the couple more time and peace of mind to enjoy their celebration. A wedding, depending on its scale, can involve hundreds of individual tasks and decisions, requiring swift and professional responses to unforeseen issues. Furthermore, professional planners often possess established relationships with various vendors and venues, facilitating smoother coordination and the realization of even unconventional requests, such as helicopter arrivals or unique entertainment.
