Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, the Member of Parliament for Kota Raja, has pledged to persistently champion the cause of residents impacted by a gas pipeline explosion in Putra Heights that occurred a year ago. He stressed that the welfare of those affected must continue to receive due attention from relevant authorities.

The incident, which took place on the second day of Hari Raya last year, caused significant destruction, affecting 85 homes and forcing some residents to relocate to temporary evacuation centers. The explosion involved a 500-meter section of a gas pipeline belonging to Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas).
