Werder Bremen signs former HSV player Ludovit Reis

Bundesliga club Werder Bremen has secured the signing of Dutch midfielder Ludovit Reis, adding another player to their ranks. The 26-year-old joins from Belgian champions Club Brugge, where he had limited playing time recently.

Reis is familiar with the Bundesliga, having previously played for Werder's northern rivals, Hamburger SV (HSV), between 2021 and 2025. During his tenure at HSV, he was part of the team that achieved promotion back to Germany's top flight. He made 129 competitive appearances for the Hamburg club before moving to Belgium.

Reis experienced a challenging season at Club Brugge, partly due to a shoulder injury, and his last appearance was in January. He now aims to reignite his career in Bremen. Meanwhile, Werder Bremen is reportedly also in negotiations with SC Freiburg for striker Eren Dinkci, who would initially join on loan.
