West Java DPRD Appreciates 15th WTP, Pushes for Better Financial Governance

West Java's provincial government has achieved its 15th consecutive Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) for its 2025 fiscal year financial report. This consistent recognition highlights the provincial administration's ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards in regional financial management.

Tina Wiryawati, a member of Commission III of the West Java DPRD from the Gerindra Faction, lauded the achievement, stating it demonstrates the provincial government's strong consistency and commitment to improving regional financial governance year after year. She noted that the WTP is not merely an administrative accomplishment but reflects the collective effort of all regional apparatuses in ensuring transparent and accountable budget management.

Wiryawati stressed the importance of sustaining and elevating the quality of regional financial management. She believes this will amplify the positive impact on public services and regional development. The synergy between the regional government, the DPRD, and the BPK is crucial for ensuring that financial management is effective and precisely targeted, she added.

Looking ahead, Wiryawati expressed hope that the quality of financial management will continue to improve.
