West Java Selects 130 Candidates for 2027 Saudi Hajj Service Team in Civil-Service-Style Test

West Java has begun selecting candidates for the 2027 Saudi Arabia Hajj service team through a test modeled on Indonesia’s civil-service examinations.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah held the selection on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at the regional office of Indonesia’s State Civil Service Agency on Jalan Surapati in Bandung. The process covers candidates for the Hajj service team, known as PPIH, as well as pilgrimage group religious instructors.
