Wetteraukreis: Fatal Crash with Two Deaths - Eight Teenagers in One Car

A tragic car accident in Germany's Wetteraukreis region has claimed the lives of two teenagers and left six others seriously injured. The victims, a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, were among eight youths traveling in a car that veered off its lane early Wednesday afternoon.

The vehicle collided with a trailer that was parked alongside a truck used for road marking. The impact pushed the trailer into the truck, and the force of the collision resulted in the fatalities and severe injuries.

Three workers in the truck's cabin were also affected; one sustained serious injuries, and another suffered minor injuries. All three were taken to hospitals. Multiple rescue helicopters were deployed to assist in treating and transporting the injured.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash. It remains unclear how the underage individuals obtained the car. A forensic expert has been appointed by the public prosecutor's office to reconstruct the exact sequence of events leading to the fatal collision.
