What games are coming to PlayStation Plus in August? Check the titles arriving here

Sony is adding three new video games to its PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for August, offering them as free downloads to subscribers across all three subscription tiers: Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. To keep access to these games, members must maintain an active subscription.

The new titles will become available starting Tuesday, August 4th, and will remain accessible until Monday, August 31st. This follows the July offerings, which include "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III," "For the King II," and "CrossCode," available for download until Monday, August 3rd.

Among the new August additions is a game that blends survival with action-adventure, where players navigate a hostile, post-apocalyptic world. The protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, must contend with a virus that transforms humans into monsters. Another title is a cooperative multiplayer adventure game from House House, encouraging players to team up to solve challenges and discover secrets in an open world.

The third game features a player awakening from a long slumber as Elster, exploring a surreal, retro-technological world. This character is on a quest for a lost partner and forgotten dreams, encountering puzzles and mystical creatures along the way. Subscribers can access these games by navigating to the PlayStation Store via their console or the Sony digital portal.
