WhatsApp users experiencing storage issues on their devices can utilize a built-in feature to easily reclaim space by deleting multimedia files from individual chats. The messaging app provides a function called "Empty chat" designed to simplify the process of removing photos, videos, and other media.

This tool allows users to clear out files from any chat without affecting the conversation's message history. By selecting the "Only multimedia files" option after initiating the "Empty chat" function, users can effectively remove stored media. Accessing this feature involves navigating to the desired chat, tapping the three-dot menu, selecting "More," and then choosing "Empty chat."

Maintaining sufficient storage space is crucial for WhatsApp's proper functioning, ensuring users can send and receive messages without interruption.
