Wildberries warehouse in Russia burns after Ukrainian drone strike

A massive fire engulfed a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries in the Tula region, located just south of Moscow. Regional authorities confirmed that the conflagration was ignited by a Ukrainian drone attack. The incident also resulted in damage to two industrial facilities in Novomoskovsk and Uzlovaja, as well as two residential buildings in another part of the Tula region.

Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, acknowledged the destruction of its Tula facility shortly after the incident. This attack is part of a broader pattern, as Ukrainian forces have reportedly targeted approximately 20 Wildberries warehouses since mid-July. Ukraine claims that Wildberries, often referred to as Russia's Amazon, is used to sell drones and other military equipment to Russian soldiers.
