Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has described the upcoming elections to the Kurultai as a landmark event that will significantly shape the country's future. Speaking about the nation's recent adoption of a new constitution through a nationwide referendum, Tokayev underscored the principle of unity as the bedrock of national prosperity.

We held a nationwide referendum and adopted a new Constitution. Our citizens voted for the new Basic Law. Kazakh wisdom says: ‘Unity is the source of prosperity.’ The unity of the people is the unshakable foundation for the growth and prosperity of our state.

With the election campaign now in full swing and political parties exhibiting high standards of political culture, Tokayev expressed confidence that Kazakhstan stands on the threshold of momentous events and a highly responsible period.

The elections for the Kurultai, scheduled for August 23, 2026, are historic as they are the first of their kind in Kazakhstan's history. President Tokayev believes that by channeling collective experience and energy, the nation will achieve progress for the benefit of the Motherland.

Soon, for the first time in Kazakhstan’s history, elections to the Kurultai will be held, which will undoubtedly become one of the most important events in the life of the country.

To facilitate voter participation, the Central Election Commission has launched an online service. Citizens can now easily locate their designated polling station by visiting government websites or using the eGov Mobile app. By entering their Individual Identification Number (IIN) and selecting their region of residence, voters can access the polling station number and address, ensuring a smooth electoral process.
