Will it get cooler? Three-day weather forecast for Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is bracing for a period of highly variable weather over the next three days, characterized by intense heat across most of the nation, interspersed with severe weather phenomena in certain regions.

The southern, southeastern, eastern, and central parts of the country are forecast to endure the most extreme temperatures, with daytime highs potentially reaching +35 to +40 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are significantly above the typical climatic norm for this time of year.

Despite the prevailing heat, atmospheric conditions are expected to remain unstable. Forecasters predict short-term, localized rains accompanied by thunderstorms across much of Kazakhstan. Notably, the northern and central regions may experience heavy precipitation, potentially bringing hail and squally winds.

The western regions of Kazakhstan are anticipated to be the first to experience a shift in weather patterns. Starting August 1, cooler air is expected to move into the west, leading to a slight decrease in temperatures, although they will likely remain above the seasonal average.
