Chilean journalist Karim Butte became the subject of amusement during a live television report when strong winds dramatically snatched his umbrella away. The incident occurred while Butte was broadcasting live for the morning show "Mucho Gusto" from outside the Kandinsky building in Concón, an area affected by a significant weather system impacting ten regions of the country.

As Butte delivered his report, powerful gusts of wind overwhelmed his umbrella, tearing it from his grip. In a moment captured on camera, the reporter was left holding only the handle while the rest of the umbrella was swept away towards the rocky coastline.

"Oh, it broke, the umbrella flew away," exclaimed Butte, reacting to the sudden loss of his protection. Back in the studio, co-host Karen Doggenweiler commented that "it had to happen sooner or later," while José Antonio Neme humorously added, "It's not the first time, Karim."
