Winner of Croatia's first reality show steps out of the spotlight

Marin Tironi, who captured hearts and won the first Croatian reality show "Story Super Nova," has largely stepped away from the public eye. After his victory, Tironi experienced a period of television work, including hosting duties. He initially signed with Nova TV but later moved to HRT, where he co-hosted "Upitnik" with Joško Lokas, a well-known quiz show from the late 1990s. He also had a stint hosting on CMC television.

Following his television career, Tironi shifted his focus to photography, becoming a photojournalist. He has shared numerous photos of his passion for the sea on social media platforms. In addition to his work as a photojournalist, Tironi also works as a skipper during the summer months.

Reflecting on his reality show win in 2003, Tironi described the overwhelming experience. "I don't know what to say. I look at everything around me and feel like it's happening to someone else. It's like I entered the body of a famous person, and for two months I was the biggest star myself. Of course, I'm happy!" he stated. He expressed particular gratitude to those who supported him, feeling that "justice has finally prevailed in Croatia."

Beyond his public career, Tironi became a father in 2010, though details about his private life remain limited. He also appeared in a music video for singer Paola Valić in 2003, portraying a laid-back character more interested in friends, cards, and beer than romance.
