Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg Renovates Genk Building for Expanded Healthcare Space

Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg, a healthcare organization, is undertaking a significant renovation of its current main building located in Genk, Belgium. Despite the provincial headquarters relocating to Hasselt, the organization is committed to maintaining its presence in Genk by upgrading its existing facility on the Welzijnscampus Portavida.

The renovation project will expand the building, creating an additional 1,100 square meters of space. This newly available area is earmarked for office and meeting purposes, intended to host other healthcare and welfare organizations. The upgraded facility will also house 200 healthcare providers and establish three new nursing posts, enhancing local healthcare services.

This initiative reflects Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg's dedication to fostering collaboration within the healthcare sector. By providing shared space and resources, the organization aims to support other partners on the campus, ultimately benefiting the community through improved access to care and support services.
