With Hanks and Alley, Belinda Joins the Voice Cast of "Toy Story 5"!

Mexican singer Belinda has revealed she is part of the voice cast for Disney-Pixar's upcoming "Toy Story 5." She shared her excitement through photographs taken at Pixar Studios in San Francisco, California, alongside actors Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, who voice the iconic characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively.

Belinda will lend her voice to a new character named Lilypad, described as an iPad with a frog-shaped case. The singer expressed her long-held desire to work in voice acting, stating, "I've always felt a very special connection with dubbing, and being able to do it alongside talented people is a dream come true." She also noted that "Toy Story" is one of her favorite films.

This is not Belinda's first foray into voice acting. She has previously contributed to the Spanish dubs of animated films such as "The Tale of Despereaux," "Tad, the Lost Explorer," and "Trolls." The announcement comes shortly after her role as Carlota de Habsburgo in the HBO Max series.

While Belinda shared moments from the Pixar studios, it remains unclear whether she will voice Lilypad in both the English and Spanish versions of the film, similar to how Bad Bunny voices "Pizza con gafas de Sol" (Sunglasses-Faced Pizza). Belinda later removed the initial post containing the photos with Hanks and Allen, though a video from the studios is still available.
