Wlodarczyk appointed Lidl’s head for the Baltic states

Janusz Przemyslaw Wlodarczyk, a member of Lidl’s Baltic management board and its operations chief, has taken over as the retail chain’s head in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

He replaces Marina Dokozić, who joined the Germany-based group’s central board and now oversees operations in several southern European countries.

Wlodarczyk said the company would continue to centre its strategy on customers and a strong balance between price and quality. He also highlighted the role of Lidl’s employees in delivering the customer experience, maintaining a carefully selected range and keeping stores running smoothly across all three Baltic states.

The changes also affected Lidl’s management board. Željko Marić, head of the customer division, joined the board in September. The board also includes human resources chief Liina Kippasto, finance chief Eglė Radžiūnė, real estate chief Marius Kybartas, operations chief Lukasz Hejman and purchasing chief Alexis Latorre Garcia.

Lidl currently operates 87 stores in Lithuania, 39 in Latvia and 22 in Estonia.
