Woman Locked Inside Tangsel Daycare, Suspected Rent Dispute

A woman identified as Esa Salsabila was found locked inside a daycare facility in Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan, on Monday, July 20. The incident was reported to the police by her husband, Mughi, who stated that his partner was trapped inside by unknown individuals.

According to the Head of the Ciputat Timur Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, the police responded immediately to the report. Upon arrival, they requested assistance from the fire department to safely evacuate Salsabila from the daycare.

Salsabila was eventually rescued through a second-floor window and safely brought down by rescue personnel using a ladder. The police are currently investigating the motive behind the incident. The husband suggested that the event might be related to a dispute over the rent for the daycare premises.

Authorities are gathering more information by interviewing witnesses and the owner of the daycare. However, both the victim and witnesses reported not seeing who locked the door from the outside. The police plan to question the daycare owner further to clarify the situation that has caused public concern.
