Woman, three children found dead in Lahore; husband questioned

Authorities in Lahore are investigating the mysterious deaths of a woman and her three children, whose bodies were discovered in a rented house in Valencia Town. The family had recently returned to Pakistan from the United States.

Police have questioned the woman's husband, Nasir Dogar, who has since been released. Dogar told investigators that upon returning home from the market, he found his wife, Aleena, and their children – Rehan, 16, Aresha, 11, and Arsal, 6 – unconscious. They were later pronounced dead.

Dogar reported that his wife had been undergoing treatment for mental health issues for the past six months. He claimed that before her condition worsened, she had told him the children had gone to watch a movie with a relative. He stated she later lost consciousness and died, while the children's bodies were found in a separate room.
