FIFA significantly increased prize money for all stages of the competition. Teams reaching the quarterfinals earned between 15.6 and 17.3 million euros, those in the Round of 16 received between 10.4 and 13 million euros, and participation in the group stage guaranteed earnings of 9.5 to 10.4 million euros.

Even teams eliminated in the group stage secured substantial revenue, ranging from 7.8 to 8.7 million euros. This distribution confirms the 2026 World Cup as the most lucrative in the event's history, underscoring its growing economic significance.
