At 41 years old, Vozinha arrives as a free agent after concluding his contract with Portuguese second-division side Chaves. His World Cup campaign was a major highlight, where he was named man of the match in Cape Verde's 0-0 draw against Spain, making seven crucial saves. He also played a significant role in their 3-2 extra-time loss to Argentina in the round of 16, again making seven saves.
