World Nomad Games to feature grand nomadic life performance in Kyrchyn

Kyrgyzstan is preparing to host the opening of the cultural program 'World of Nomads' on September 2nd in the picturesque Kyrchyn Gorge, a key event within the VI World Nomad Games.

The highlight of the opening ceremony will be a grand artistic and philosophical performance titled 'World - Life.' This production aims to immerse audiences in the rich history and spiritual essence of nomadic cultures through a captivating blend of music, choreography, theatrical scenes, equestrian displays, and visual artistry.

The performance is structured into seven distinct parts: 'Beginning,' 'Nomadic Life,' 'Livestock,' 'Celebration,' 'War,' 'Departure of the Nomads. Farewell to the Girl,' and 'World - Life.' It will feature a diverse cast of artists, musicians, dancers, stunt performers, horse riders, and masters of traditional falconry (salbuurun).

A significant element of the ceremony will be the 'Caravan of Unity,' comprising representatives from various regions of Kyrgyzstan and international guests. This caravan will make a ceremonial entrance into the 'Kut-Ordo' area, where an elder will present President Sadyr Жапаров with a 'koоkor', a traditional vessel filled with sacred water. The president will then pour this water into a special channel, initiating a symbolic flow of water from the mountaintop to the 'Bashat' square. This continuous stream will symbolize the source of life, unity, and the intergenerational legacy of nomadic peoples throughout the duration of the cultural program.
