Bruno Hernández Piché, a distinguished writer, diplomat, and professor, has passed away. The news of his death was announced by the alumni society of El Colegio de México, COLMECAS alumni.

With regret, we lament the sensitive passing of Professor Bruno Hernández Piche, colmeca alumni from the 1992-1996 graduating class of the bachelor's program in International Relations from the Center for International Studies (CEI), who dedicated his life to the Mexican Foreign Service.

Piché, born in Montreal, Canada, in 1970, was a prolific author with works including "La mala costumbre de la esperanza," "Los hechos," and "Noviembre." He studied at El Colegio de México, Concordia University, and King's College. Throughout his career, he served as an editor, diplomat, and cultural promoter.

His passing was mourned by many in the literary and diplomatic communities. Diego García Elío, an editor and former friend, expressed deep sadness, recalling Piché as a "writer of this publishing house and a good friend." The magazine "Letras Libres," where Piché was a contributor, also extended its condolences, highlighting his published texts. Piché was a member of the National System of Creators of Art and had also published articles in "Confabulario" and "Revista de la Universidad."
