Writer's daughter to be questioned over alleged abduction by GRIB Jaya leader

Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of writer Ahmad Bahar, is set to be questioned by the Polda Metro Jaya police on Tuesday. Her examination relates to a report she filed against Hercules Rosario Marshal, the chairman of the Gerakan Rakyat Indonesia Bersatu (GRIB) Jaya organization, concerning allegations of abduction and persecution.

Ilma's lawyer, Gufroni, confirmed that he would accompany her to the police headquarters, where she will provide clarification as a victim. The alleged incident occurred on May 17, 2026, when Ilma claims she was forcibly taken from her home in Cimanggis, Depok, to the GRIB headquarters in Kedoya. Gufroni described the actions as persecution and intimidation.

Gufroni stated that they would submit several pieces of evidence to the investigators. This includes a video that appears to show Ahmad Bahar being flanked by two individuals in black masks, which the lawyer likened to a thief being apprehended. Another piece of evidence is a photograph depicting the moments before Ilma was taken by GRIB Jaya members from her residence. The lawyer detailed that intimidation occurred from Sunday afternoon until the evening, with GRIB members entering the house to demand Ahmad Bahar be brought, and when he was not present, Ilma was allegedly taken instead.

Previously, Hercules Rosario Marshal was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya by Ilma Sani Fitriana, accompanied by her lawyer Gufroni, on May 22, 2026. The report detailed allegations of kidnapping, threats, and the potential use of firearms. The report was registered under number LP/B/3679/V/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. Notably, GRIB Jaya has reportedly filed a counter-report against Ilma Sani Fitriana and others.
