Fans of rap and hip-hop music in Bishkek are still waiting for refunds after the X Fest 3 festival, scheduled for June 12 at Nomad Arena, was canceled. Numerous attendees reported to 24.kg that they have not received their money back within the promised two-week timeframe for tickets purchased at physical locations. More than 700 people are affected by this issue, with ticket prices ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 Kyrgyz som.

Despite the event's cancellation nearly a month ago, many ticket holders are still awaiting their refunds. One affected individual shared that organizers initially promised returns within two weeks but have since stopped responding. "It's very unpleasant to be in a situation where, after a concert is canceled, you have to fight for your own money for almost a month. It's almost impossible to contact the organizers now – their phone is off, and there's no information about refund timelines. We want our money back, not more promises," she stated.

A festival employee claimed that organizers are not evading responsibility. "Money will be returned soon – within one and a half to two weeks. We are not shirking responsibility. The concert had to be canceled because we couldn't gather the necessary audience size," the employee said. The social media accounts of the X Fest organizers have been deleted, making them unreachable.

Five affected individuals have already filed complaints with law enforcement agencies, hoping to recover their funds and hold the organizers accountable. Other ticket buyers are also considering legal action and approaching government bodies.
