Xiaomi unveils 17T series with Leica telephoto cameras

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest T-series smartphones, the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro. For the first time, the T-series offers two sizes, aiming to provide a tailored flagship experience. Both models feature advanced Leica optics, including a 50MP main camera with large sensors designed for exceptional detail and clarity.

The series introduces a 5x telephoto camera to both models, enhancing versatility. This lens captures 50MP shots with OIS, enabling detailed macro photography from 30cm and impressive zoom capabilities up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom. The Xiaomi 17T Pro also introduces a 4K 60fps cinematic mode, offering natural background blur for immersive video.

A standout feature is Leica Live Moment, which captures fleeting expressions and emotions, adding depth and context to everyday photos. This technology works across all rear camera focal lengths, preserving Leica's distinct aesthetic. The phones also include eye-care displays and large batteries.
