Xpeng L03: New Electric SUV Integrates AI and Google Maps for Global Launch

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng has unveiled its new AI-focused coupe SUV, the L03, marking a significant entry into the global market, including Singapore. Launched on July 16, 2026, from Munich, the L03 is positioned as an accessible gateway to Xpeng's advanced intelligent driving features, competing aggressively in the mass-premium electric vehicle segment.

The L03 boasts a striking exterior design, developed under the guidance of former Ferrari head of exterior design, JuanMa Lopez. It features Xpeng's "vital flow" design language, characterized by a low, wide stance, a fastback roofline, frameless doors, and slim LED lighting. The car measures 4.65m long, 1.92m wide, and 1.6m tall, with a claimed drag coefficient of 0.228, contributing to its aerodynamic efficiency and an estimated additional 47.5km of range.

Central to the L03's appeal is its advanced in-car technology, particularly its AI capabilities. The top-tier Ultra variant is equipped with three Xpeng Turing AI chips, delivering a substantial 2,250 TOPS (tera operations per second). While Singapore is expected to receive a version with a single chip providing 750 TOPS, the system is designed to interpret complex road situations and support full-scenario navigation. The Xpeng L03's XOS 6.0 Smart Cockpit is centered around a 15.6-inch display, integrating AI-assisted functions for everyday usability. Safety features include Blowout Stability Control, Driver Incapacitation Assist, and 17 active safety functions.
