He shares the top valuation with Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, but Yamal secures the No. 1 spot due to his recent surge in market value, according to a ranking by Transfermarkt.

The list highlights the dominance of young stars in modern football. Following Yamal and Haaland are global sensations like Kylian Mbappé, Pedri, Michael Olise, João Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Vinícius Junior, and Jude Bellingham, whose values range from 130 million to 180 million euros. This new generation of talent commands significantly higher valuations than their predecessors.

Notably absent from the top rankings are two of the sport's greatest legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Their current market values, estimated at around 10-15 million euros, place them far outside the top 250 players. This stark contrast underscores the generational shift in football's economic landscape, where emerging stars now command valuations nearly 20 times higher than the veterans.
