Yemen's Houthis Vow Retaliation After Saudi Strikes on Hodeidah

Yemen's Houthi rebels have threatened retaliation against Saudi Arabia following airstrikes in the Red Sea province of Hodeidah. The Iran-allied group, which controls northern Yemen, accused Saudi warplanes of conducting at least five attacks on various locations, including civilian areas and Hodeidah port.

The Houthi political bureau declared that these "recent crimes" would not go unpunished, emphasizing their commitment to deterrence. In a statement broadcast by Al Masirah TV, the group asserted that the principle of deterrence guides their response. They specifically vowed to attack Saudi ports in retaliation for strikes on civilian infrastructure, which they described as a dangerous escalation.
