Yemeni Minister Praises Saudi Support for Hajj Pilgrims

The Yemeni Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, Sheikh Turki Abdullah Al-Wadai, expressed profound gratitude for Saudi Arabia's unwavering support and the exceptional facilities extended to Yemeni pilgrims. In an interview with Okaz, he emphasized how this crucial assistance, particularly during Yemen's challenging times, has not only facilitated the Hajj journey but also underscored the deep-rooted relationship between the two nations.

We praised the level of great Saudi support provided to Yemen related to the Hajj, and the volume of exceptional facilities that Yemenis received, stemming from the circumstances Yemen is going through, and embodying the depth of relations between the two countries.

Al-Wadai detailed the meticulous planning and operational execution, which began early in the previous year, covering every stage from registration to the pilgrims' return. This comprehensive approach included swift visa processing, accreditation of Hajj service providers, and the arrangement of air and land transportation, alongside meticulous distribution of pilgrims in accommodations and services. The minister highlighted the daily, high-level coordination with Saudi Hajj authorities, which has been instrumental in streamlining procedures and ensuring a smooth experience for all Yemeni pilgrims.
