Yeniden Refah Party Official Injured in Car Crash After Running Red Light

A traffic accident involving a high-ranking official from the Yeniden Refah Party has resulted in injuries to three people. The incident occurred at the Giresun Port Junction when the official car, carrying Deputy Chairman Osman Gezgin, reportedly disregarded a red light. The vehicle entered the intersection and collided with another car traveling on a green light. The impact caused Gezgin's car to swerve and crash into metal barriers. Gezgin, his driver, and a third passenger were injured in the collision. They were taken to the hospital for treatment as a precaution, and their conditions are not life-threatening. Security camera footage captured the moment of the crash, showing the official car speeding into the intersection before colliding with another vehicle and veering into the barriers. This accident occurred at the same junction where a previous crash on May 23 resulted in the deaths of five people, including three children.
