Yobe Emir's son appointed Magajin Garin Potiskum

Prince Sulyman Umaru Bubaram has been appointed the new Magajin Garin Potiskum, receiving the emirate's top traditional title in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State. The appointment, approved by the Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya, follows the passing of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Mai Hassan, who previously held the esteemed position.

The selection of Prince Sulyman is a recognition of his dedication, integrity, loyalty, and significant contributions to the development of both the Potiskum Emirate Council and Yobe State. The Arewa PUNCH reported that a thanksgiving and solidarity reception was held at the Potiskum Emirate Council, drawing over 500 family members, friends, and well-wishers to honor the newly appointed traditional title holder.
