Young archer brings honor to SK Banggu with dual competition success

Muhammad Iqbal Mohd. Ibrahim, a Year 5 student at SK Banggu, has brought honor to his school through remarkable achievements in two recent archery competitions. He excelled at the Kelantan School Sports Council (MSSK) Archery Championship, contributing to his team's victory in the team event and clinching the gold medal in the Under-12 Open Recurve category.

Iqbal also demonstrated his skill by securing fourth place in the individual elimination event and fourth in the 40-meter distance competition. His success continued at the USM-Singora 3D Field Archery Tournament held at Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Noor Azniah @ Noni Mat Nor, the headmaster of SK Banggu, praised Iqbal's accomplishments, stating they prove rural students can compete and achieve excellence with adequate opportunities and guidance. "We are very proud of Muhammad Iqbal's achievement. This success not only brings honor to the school but also inspires other students to pursue their passions," she said. The school emphasized that Iqbal's achievements are the result of his hard work, discipline, and continuous commitment, supported by his teachers, coaches, and parents.
