Young Man Missing in Kaunas; Mother Makes Emotional Plea for His Return

Authorities in Kaunas, Lithuania, are actively searching for Simas Urbonas, a 22-year-old man who disappeared on June 2. The Kaunas City Police Department's Žaliakalnis Police Station received a report that Urbonas left his home around 5:00 PM and has not returned since.

Urbonas's mother has taken to social media to plead for the public's assistance in locating her son. In an emotional Facebook post, she implored anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward, stating, "My son, I beg you, come home." She emphasized that her family loves him and is desperately waiting for his return.

The missing man is described as being around 175 centimeters tall with a slim build. He has short, dark hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a dark sports sweater and jeans. Police are urging anyone who may have seen Urbonas or possesses any information relevant to his disappearance to contact the Kaunas City Žaliakalnis Police Station or the general emergency number 112 as soon as possible.
