Everyday activities require assistance from family, from eating to personal hygiene. Born with cerebral palsy, I couldn't go to school like my friends. But I still have my parents. Every evening, even after a long day working in the fields, my parents would spend 15-20 minutes talking with me, teaching me how to communicate and be polite.

Dương's life has been marked by struggle. Born with cerebral palsy after a severe seizure at two months old, he relies on his family for daily activities and never had the chance to attend school. Yet, he learned to communicate and show respect through his parents' evening conversations. He discovered a passion for Japanese anime, seeing it not just as entertainment but as a source of profound messages about friendship, resilience, and never giving up on dreams.

He navigates the challenges of balancing and controlling muscle spasms to produce content. To input text and respond to messages, he utilizes voice-to-text applications. The recent onset of epilepsy in 2024 has added further difficulties to his and his family's life, with his father suffering from spinal degeneration and his mother being the sole breadwinner.
