Youths break into German swimming pool amid overcrowding ban

In Bad Fallingbostel, Germany, a group of young people circumvented an entry ban at a public swimming pool by climbing over the fence. The pool had temporarily stopped admitting new visitors due to the risk of overcrowding on Saturday.

Police officers intervened after the breach was discovered. The youths were apprehended and now face criminal charges for trespassing. In addition to the legal consequences, they have been issued a ban from the swimming facility, preventing them from returning.

Elsewhere in Lower Saxony, authorities also dealt with incidents at other public pools. In Rotenburg an der Wümme, police initially mediated a dispute within the local swimming pool. Later that evening, a 48-year-old man was briefly arrested for entering the women's changing room, causing distress to several women.
