Yuanta Investment Trust Launches Multi-Asset Fund for High-Growth, High-Volatility Markets

Global stock markets are entering a new era of "high growth, high volatility," according to Yuanta Investment Trust. To capture AI growth dividends while ensuring cash flow, the company announced the launch of the "Yuanta Quality Income Growth Multi-Asset Fund" on June 29.

The fund aims for long-term capital appreciation and income through a diversified allocation of growth stocks, U.S. bonds, and ETFs. Yuanta Investment Trust noted that investors previously had to choose between high growth and cash flow, facing risks like significant volatility in pure stock funds or traditional income sources relying on non-investment-grade bonds. The new strategy seeks growth through equities while enhancing income resilience with high-quality assets and a "buy-write" strategy.

The "Yuanta Quality Income Growth Multi-Asset Fund" pursues both asset growth and income. It targets trends in technology innovation, AI applications, and related industries. The fund combines U.S. Treasury bonds with a "regular buy-write strategy." This involves collecting premiums by selling options on its assets while participating in potential growth. The fund will dynamically adjust its strategy based on market conditions. To meet diverse investor needs, it offers three currency classes (New Taiwan Dollar, U.S. Dollar, and Japanese Yen) and plans its first distribution in November, with monthly payouts.

Yuanta Investment Trust cautioned that while the fund focuses on technology growth themes, its "regular buy-write strategy", which involves selling options on U.S. Treasury bonds or global stock portfolios, carries price depreciation risk. The premiums collected will also offset some returns during asset appreciation.
