Yuhan Corporation Renovates 'Willow House' Cultural Complex for 100th Anniversary

Yuhan Corporation is celebrating its 100th anniversary by unveiling a revamped 'Willow House,' a cultural complex designed to honor its founder, Dr. Yoo Il-han, and the company's legacy. The renovation centers on the 'Yuhan Archive,' which chronicles the past, present, and future of the pharmaceutical giant.

Visitors can now experience new features, including a photo zone on the second floor where they can pose with a likeness of Dr. Yoo. The third-floor 'Vision Hall' has been expanded and reorganized to improve the visitor flow, offering a more immersive journey through the company's history.

'Willow House' is a testament to Yuhan Corporation's commitment to preserving its heritage. The building itself is the company's former headquarters, used for 35 years starting in 1962. Its transformation into a cultural space began with renovations for the centennial, culminating in the official reopening on June 20.

Since opening its doors, 'Willow House' has attracted a steady stream of visitors. Yuhan Corporation reports that the 'Yuhan Archive' alone has welcomed an average of 200 people daily over the past month, with a peak of 443 visitors in a single day. The company estimates that around 1,000 people visit the complex, including its cafe, on weekend days.

Interest in Yuhan Corporation's history extends beyond physical visits, with online content related to 'Willow House' also gaining traction, particularly on the complex's official Instagram account.
