Zagreb Holding Launches Hiring Drive for Dozens of Positions

Zagreb Holding has launched a significant hiring initiative, seeking dozens of new employees across its various subsidiaries. The company is looking to fill essential operational roles, with a particular focus on its Čistoća (Cleanliness) and Gradska groblja (City Cemeteries) branches.

Čistoća is recruiting a large number of sanitation workers and landfill staff, offering permanent contracts with a six-month probation period. The base gross monthly salary is set at 1372 euros, with an additional 0.5% increase per year of service. Employees will also receive a net monthly allowance of 176 euros, a subsidized public transport pass, and other benefits as per the collective agreement. The subsidiary is also seeking three auto mechanics for its fleet maintenance.

Gradska groblja is looking to hire five gravediggers. Their duties will include excavating graves and tombs to the required depth, as well as exhuming and relocating remains. Responsibilities also encompass preparing burial sites, horticultural work, operating machinery when needed, and handling deceased individuals. The salary for this position was not specified.

Other openings include a road inspector for Zagrebačke Ceste, responsible for monitoring road conditions and reporting necessary repairs. Candidates with vocational or secondary technical education are preferred, with a driver's license and a road inspector qualification being advantageous. Zagrebačke Ceste also seeks a temporary auto body repairer. The Vladimir Nazor subsidiary, which manages the Holding's tourist facilities, is hiring two cooks. These positions offer a base gross monthly salary of 1630.16 euros, with the same service-based increment and a net monthly allowance of 176.66 euros. The roles are permanent, with a trial period, and primarily based at Sljeme.
