Zagreb resident awaits response for storm-damaged grave, deadline looms for aid applications

A Zagreb resident expressed frustration on Reddit about the lack of response after reporting storm damage to a grave site in March. He questioned the procedure and deadline for submitting documentation for financial aid.

In comments, another user shared a similar experience, stating that the person who initially contacted them about car damage was now unreachable. The city recently issued a public call for documentation to process financial aid for damages sustained by grave sites due to storms between March 26-28.

Individuals eligible for financial aid must be users or co-users of the damaged grave site. Applications must be submitted by July 1 to the Zagreb Holding's City Cemeteries branch, following a call published on April 8. The aid covers 50% of the damage, capped at 3,000 euros per grave. Only one co-user can receive the funds, with consent from all others listed on the grave registry or usage rights certificate.
