Zain Esports powers one of MENA’s biggest PUBG MOBILE championship platforms across 7 countries

This significant event spanned seven countries, marking a major step in Zain Esports' growing influence within the regional gaming and esports industry.

Zain Esports, the esports brand of Zain Group, powered the 2026 PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) MENA Spring Series across seven countries, marking a major milestone in its growing role as a regional force in the gaming and esports industry.

The championship events took place in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Palestine, and Iraq. It brought together a large number of players and teams, establishing itself as one of the most prominent competitive PUBG MOBILE platforms in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The series was organized in partnership with Tencent, the global technology and gaming company behind PUBG MOBILE, which officially licensed Zain Esports to operate the championship in MENA, in collaboration with Teal Flamingo Studios.

Over two months, the series featured nine days of live-streamed finals. It attracted more than 144,000 registered players, achieved over 790,000 livestream views, hosted more than 200 matches, and generated over 25 million social media views. This success underscores Zain Group's commitment to being a regional digital innovator and a leading technology company, leveraging its infrastructure to support high-growth sectors like gaming and esports.

The 2026 PMNC MENA Spring was organized through an official partnership with Tencent... which handpicked Zain Esports and granted it the official license to operate the championship in the MENA region, in collaboration with Bahrain-based Teal Flamingo Studios.

The championship structure included various national tournaments, such as the PMNC MENA Wildcard Spring and specific championships for Iraq and Jordan. The tournament provided a competitive pathway for players, starting from open qualifiers and progressing through group stages to national finals. Zain Esports managed the entire tournament process, from planning and organization to media campaigns, streaming, broadcast execution, community engagement, and digital content amplification.

The tournament further reinforces Zain Group’s position as a regional digital innovator and leading TechCo, using its scale, advanced connectivity infrastructure, and digital ecosystem to support new high-growth sectors such as gaming and esports.

The top three winning teams were announced for each series. In the MENA Wildcard Spring, Nigma Galaxy took first place, followed by KHK Esports and Earth Quake. In the Jordan Spring series, FourWiz secured first place, with GEE Seven and STG Esports placing second and third, respectively. For the Iraq Spring series, IKURD Esports won first place, followed by Lost Savage and Rage Esports.
