Zanzibar opens new loan avenues for youth and women

Zanzibar is advancing its efforts to support its youth and women entrepreneurs with new loan facilities and financial services. The Zanzibar Economic Empowerment Agency (ZEEA) has entered into significant agreements with key financial and regulatory bodies. These include a partnership with the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) and the Zanzibar Business and Property Registration Agency (BPRA).

The collaborations are designed to streamline access to credit, facilitate the formalization of businesses, and enhance the availability of crucial financial services. This initiative underscores Zanzibar's commitment to fostering economic inclusion and empowering its younger population and female business owners.
