Zara Qairina Might Have Remained in a Lifelong Coma If She Had Survived

Zara Qairina’s father told the Coroner’s Court in Kota Kinabalu that his daughter might have remained in a coma for the rest of her life if she had survived.

Mahathir Mohd Hashim, 45, gave the evidence as the 80th witness in the inquest into the death of the Form One student. He said a female doctor told him this when he visited Zara Qairina in the hospital’s intensive-care unit.
