Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held separate meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump and Finnish President Alexander Stubb in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. The meetings occurred on the sidelines of Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral, which drew several heads of state.

Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump at the White House was discreet, with no journalists present. Afterward, Zelenskyy stated on X that the meeting was productive. He thanked the U.S. for its unwavering support and mentioned discussions about production licenses for Patriot missile defense systems, as well as other measures to aid Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. Diplomacy was also a key topic, with Zelenskyy emphasizing the need to revive diplomatic processes.

Later, Zelenskyy met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. Zelenskyy shared photos and a video of their greeting on X, indicating they discussed the outcomes of their earlier meetings and the current diplomatic prospects for peace. Zelenskyy noted that Russia is suffering heavy battlefield losses and facing increasing economic difficulties.
